If you encounter a fire or any emergency, feel your personal safety being endangered, or simply witness any crime happening, you can contact the Police, Fire Services Department or get an ambulance by dialing “999”.
You can also report your lost property, cyber crime or even telephone nuisance in the “E-report Room” on the Hong Kong Police Force’s website.
Although Hong Kong has a low crime rate, pickpockets and persons selling imitation brand name goods are not extinct here. You may wish to learn some useful tips on protecting yourself here.
